Who we are

AnyFarm IOT (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a South African agricultural technology company building a farm-management platform — cloud software, on-site gateways, a mobile app, and field hardware. Our contact details are on the About page. This statement describes how we handle personal information collected through this website and through use of the AnyFarm platform. We process personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What information we collect

On this website. You don’t need to register or provide personal information to browse this site. We may collect basic technical information automatically — IP address, browser user-agent, and request paths — to operate the site and detect abuse. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers that profile individual visitors.

When you contact us. If you reach out via email, phone, or a contact form, we collect what you choose to share — typically a name, contact details, and the content of your enquiry — solely to respond to you.

On the AnyFarm platform. When you use the platform, it stores the farm data you and your team capture — fields, workers, activities, sensor readings, livestock and equipment records. Each organisation’s data is held in an isolated tenant and remains yours; we process it only to provide the service to you. The on-site gateway keeps a working copy on your own farm network so the operation keeps running offline.

How we use information

• To respond to enquiries — we use the details and content you share to reply and follow up where appropriate.
• To operate this website — basic request logs keep the site running, help us troubleshoot, and detect malicious activity.
• To provide the platform — we process your farm and account data to deliver the service, support your deployment, and keep your data synced between farm and cloud.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
• We do not use one customer’s data for another, or pool tenants’ data — each organisation is isolated.
• We do not run third-party advertising or behavioural-tracking systems on this site.

Data retention

• Website logs — retained for a limited period (typically a few months) sufficient for operational and security purposes, then deleted.
• Enquiry correspondence — retained while we have an active commercial relationship or a reasonable expectation of one. You may request deletion at any time.
• Platform data — retained for as long as your account is active and according to your organisation’s needs. On account closure, data is deleted or returned per the service agreement.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to request deletion (subject to legitimate-interest and legal-retention exceptions). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on the About page.

Cookies

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not set advertising, marketing, or behavioural-tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics that profile individual visitors. Because the cookies in use are limited to those needed for security, abuse prevention, and the basic operation of the site, your prior consent is not required under POPIA. We disclose them here so you can see exactly what is set.
