What it does
The Pivot Orientation Tracker reports the angle and direction of a centre pivot in real time, so the platform always knows which sector is being watered and when each part of the field last got water.
What it captures
- Pivot angle and rotation direction, live
- Travel speed and application depth
- Flow and pressure at the pivot point
- GPS position; manufacturer, model and span on file
Why it matters
- Every sector accounted for — irrigation events tie to the exact arc that was watered, for water-licence and SIZA records.
- Catch a stuck pivot fast — no rotation when there should be is an immediate alert, not a dry patch you find days later.
- Run it from anywhere — remote start/stop, load-shedding aware.
